Battery charger
« on: March 03, 2017, 10:06:48 AM »
Has anyone set up a 3 bank charger with a Stay + Charge setup? Does it interfere with either mode of charging?
Thx Bill

I looked into it and was advised against it because I don't do enough motoring for it to be beneficial to me.

I have mine set up with a three bank charger. I have all three banks from the charger going to the cranking battery.  The cranking battery is then sending a charge thru the All-In-Charge to the trolling motor batteries.  I also have the Tow-N-Charge from the truck to charge all batteries while on the road.  Works great!

The three bank is only charging the cranking battery...once it reaches 13V it charges the trolling motor batteries.

No sir Bill. They work awesome! I have been running my stay n charge on my Triton since 2006 or so... never had an issue. It actually has helped me. I still have the same Interstate batteries in my boat since 2006. The StayNCharge maintains them beautifully!
