[Georgia] Lake Harding
« on: July 22, 2018, 08:08:52 AM »
Friday I was primed to go fishing.  The weather looked like it was going to storm but I called up my friend J.B. and told him if wanted to go fishing with me to be at my house at 0430.  J.B. showed up at 0415.  As I was already hooked up we loaded up his gear and made our way to the lake.  We had to wait till daylight to launch the boat. The Mayflies were flying all over the place.  We hit the first point and the bushed were covered in Mayflies.  I rigged up a Sinko and lost the first fish I hooked.  Then I managed to land a small bass.  After that it was one here and one there . J.B. finally caught one small Spotted bass.  I all we landed a total of six bass.  Fished toll 1425 and then went home. No big fish just keepers.

Put a rod in my hand and a boat under my feet and watch me catch bass.

Thanks for the report Joe and glad y'all caught some fish. I can remember going up to Canada during the mayfly hatch and them things were everywhere and all over the water. I was shocked that we still caught some fish when they had all them mayflies to eat.
