[Georgia] Private Pond fishing.
« on: September 04, 2018, 07:28:36 AM »
During the summer I have had the honor of fishing with J.B. at private ponds in our area.  Most notable was a pond just a mile from my house that I did not was there.  We were told that we were to catch and keep the bass as they were in need of thinning out.  The pond was 25 acres.  We had a john boat with a trolling motor.  One trip around the pond was all it took to fill the live well to the top. We had 28 bass that weighed just under 73 pounds.  Most of the bass were between 3 to 4 pounds.  All caught on different baits. Worms, sinko's, red eyed shad, and speed craws. We donated some of the bass to a needy family and their friends to help feed them.

Put a rod in my hand and a boat under my feet and watch me catch bass.
