A friend and I hit Cherokee before daylight and fished till noon. Water temps mostly low 80's. Played around with the map chip and focused on banks with deeper water. Worked out well, boating nearly a dozen with some solid fish. Crankbait, t-rig, shakey head, ned rig, and swimbaits catching fish. Key was keeping boat parallel to creek channel, casting up shallow and fishing back to deeper water. Got most bites in 10-15 feet. Got rained on hard early but it faired up nicely.
