Title: Papa Bear's Lure Company.
Post by: nwgabassmaster on May 22, 2017, 12:03:49 PM
This is a small tackle company that I own and operate.  While sales have been dead for the last couple of years, I am still tinkering with things.

I take pre-poured heads of jigs, buzzbaits, and spinnerbaits, and produce some of the slickest and most realistic skirt patterns that you will find on the market.  I take extreme pride in developing new patterns that will make bass believe what they are hitting is forage.

Over the years, I have taken on a few high school students and have allowed them to develop their own skirt patterns.  Some of them are very impressive and are ones that became excellent sellers.

What town are you located in?  I was a member of the Weiss Lake Bassmasters before I moved back to Columbus, Ga. My buddy Mark Pike lives in Cedar Bluff on the  lake. I bet he would like to see some of your lures.

There are a few photos.  I can upload more if wanted.  Those are 3 of the most popular patterns.  The best is the first buzzbait photo......it is called "Bluegill".  It was the first pattern that I ever created on my own and tested.  2nd and 3rd cast ever, I landed a 5 lb. and a 4 lb. bass on Lake Nickajack in TN.

Do you ever sell just the skirts.  I pour all of my own heads but might be interested in some skirts.

I do.  They are a $1 each, but there is a minimum order of 5 of each pattern you order.  The total bill will also include shipping, which is USPS First Class.

Things have been so slow for me the last couple of years, that I have let my skirt stock dwindle.  So, the first couple of orders would be used to re-fill the stock pile.

I have a turn around from ordering materials to shipping things out of 3-4 days.
