All My reels cost 100 =bucks or less, they have for the most part given me years of great service NOTE KAST KING REELS FIRST YEAR OF USE

KAST KING: the Assassin and Spartacus , got one for 40 and the other for 30, They seem well built, cast with ease and like all my reels have a six pin centrifugal break, these also have a Magnetic Break/ Just got them , happy happy so far, I want to see if Aluminum Frames really all mean that much

BPS PRO QUALIFIER: I have first and second generation, seems like only difference is the frame is smaller so the reel weighs less, the first generation can blow off a truck bed and still work........I tested that one  with Dual Breaks

Old School PLUEGER TRION, with the aluminum frame and 6 pin break What I learned to cast with, old but not in the way Still have 2 working

Fishing, It's not a job, it's not competition, it's just a groove

I'm using the BPS PRO QUALIFIER, while they are a bit heavy they are a tough reel, reasonably smooth and not bad to service.

@Oldfart9999  the gen 2 are slightly lighter . After working my whole life, I have yet to find a reel that is too heavy to enjoy a days fishing!

As I had stated in another post, Over my 30 plus years of tournament fishing, I have used just about every reel out there. While I am not knocking others, I found a reel this year that so far has out performed them all.

Piscifun Reels, they wont break the bank at all and have a full line in both Right and Left handed. In the last 4 months that I have been using them, I have really put them through some of the toughest conditions and haven't had any problems with them.

check them out at www.piscifun.com and if you place an order get with me first and I will give you a code to get even more off

I have changed all my reels out and now have Lew's Speed spools.  I used Abu Garcia, over the years I guess I had several different reels.  Now I use only Lew's so far I have not had any problems and the drag system is the smoothest I have ever seen on a bait caster.  I paid less than $120.00 for them and I got the last three for $35 each.  Brand new in the package.  Pawn shop had them on sale retail price was $99.00 each.
Put a rod in my hand and a boat under my feet and watch me catch bass.
