what next, back to 5'6" Pistol Grips
« on: September 14, 2018, 12:02:48 PM »
I am laughing today reading about the virtues of 8 ft, technique specific, must have fishing rods, preferably the new craze of custom wrapped
When I first started Baitcasting it was with a state of the art ABU 5' 6" pistol grip red rod with an ABU 5000 Round reel. Then I switched to Trions and 6'6" Med or MED Hvy / fast fenwicks HMGS
As Time went on I found what I have been using for years Bass Pro Pro Qualifier Reels and rods, all 6'6" Mor MH-Fast rods, nothing specific about technique which is a lot of sales generating BS
So the they got the "Pros" and the fellas on all these forums who will shill write so many words per month to get the 7 foot models flying off the shevles
Than Hallelujah The pros have allowed  10 foot rods, or whatever now the larger rods are being written about by the shills, all the you tubers and whoever sponsors what board IT IS ALL TO GENERATE SALES, so you go and sell your perfectly good rods, so they can sell crap after I Cast , Its the fishing hustle, and the guys writing about these rods, do not even have to tell you their association with the company they are hustle for
2 Predictions, when sales slump a Pro will catch a winning fish with an old school 5'6" pistol grip rod and they will push sales the other way,TADA!!!!!
also watch soon they will be selling Drones that will cast across lake Michigan and selling them for 1000 bucks and they will interact with the depth finders
This stuff amuses me to no end :lmao: :lmao:    :lmao:

Pistol grip is the best for small buzzbaits.
