[Site Notice] Hello All

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to update you all.

Mom's still not walking though PT has gotten her to stand for a few seconds a couple times now. Im still going through Cardiac Rehab and doctor changed some of my meds to help my mood. I was suffering some extreme depression for a while. It's improving.

I havent been fishing in months though. In fact I am trying to sell my small boat in an attempt to raise money to get Mom to her doctors again. Medicare doesnt pay for transportation because she is not inpatient, and she can only get to a doctors via a stretcher in an ambulance. That costs 400 bucks a pop. She has been 3 times now and she has 2 more upcoming so I have no choice but to sell my small boat, motor and battery to try to raise some money.

Its hard to come here when so much is going wrong in life and i cant even consider fishing. I am not giving up on the site though. It just will be a couple more months before things start to clear up I hope. Then perhaps i can get back on the water again. My Triton still sits covered. I have yet to put the SC numbers on it. It hasnt been in SC waters since 2012. Maybe by summer I will get to a point when i can take it out again.

Anyway, I really appreciate those of you who still stay loyal and visit the site every day. I have every intention of taking this site to the top again... it's just been delayed. I have come up with a lot of new ideas while I have been away as well. Even thougfh I cant put any of these ideas in action yet, I have been keep extensive notes and to do lists.

I hope you are all doing great. I truly miss all of you, chat and everything else. Speaking of chat, wait till you see my findings and the direction our chat will be taking. You guys will be so surprised and so in love with the idea.

I had to take care of my elderly parents so I know what you're going through with fatigue, a bit of depression and uncertain of the future. It's like being a parent except of an adult needing rehab and attention. You'll never regret being the outstanding son you are, so don't fret the present - the future comes all too soon.

No problem Jared you do what you have to do to take care of your Mom and yourself. Stop by when you can. I too know what it feels like we moved Diana's mom in with us over two years ago and she just turned 98 Feb. It's a chore taking care of her but what you what you going to do. We rent her house out to our Grand daughter for cheaper than they could find anywhere else. Her Mom doesn't have the health problems like your Mom so it's not quite as hard as your job.

You should be highly commended for the lengths you will go in taking care of your mom.

Jared you keep hanging tough. Mom's first. I know the money part, as my wife has copd. She is going to Bringham and woman's in Boston Ma in Aug again to  see if she  possibly quitlifies for a lung transplant. Prayers for both always.
