I want to thank everyone who visits and posts regularly. I would also like to invite visitors who have yet to post to feel free to begin posting. Remember, at Fishinpedia, we are not here to judge you or criticize you. We are a community and we here to help you. We are here to be your friends. We are here to create a family friendly community of life minded people while we enjoy talking about, reading about, dreaming about and improving our passion of bass fishing.
When I started The Bassholes back in 2006, things were quite different. There were countless places to advertise the site to help grow our community. That has changed. These days, everything is social media. I would like to ask everyone to please share our link on your Facebook, on your Twitter, on your Google+. Anywhere that you can think of sharing our link, please do. The end goal is to grow our wonderful community. As our site grows, it will benefit our community and each and everyone us.
So please, if you see a post you like, share it on your Facebook wall. Or just write a post for your Facebook wall inviting your Facebook friends to join us here. If we can all do this regularly, I guarantee you as we grow, we will grow into the best, friendliest and most informative bass fishing community on the internet. We did it with The Bassholes and I guarantee you we can do it again with Fishinpedia.
We currently have 183 members. Let's see how quickly we can get to 300 members. I will even up the ante and create a membership drive contest and reward the member who brings the most amount of new active posting members to our site. Invite your friends, and when they join welcome them aboard and let us know you invited them. We will then keep an eye on which new members become active posters and who invited them. When we get to 300 members I will give the winner a nice prize pack of baits. We will also reward member # 300 with a prize too.
