Good Morning Ski, Jig, Joe, Bassmedic and all else who may view this.

Thank you for the condolences for Mom. She'll always be my #1 fishing partner.

Looks like its going to be another hot one today. Im hoping to get out there early so I can clear my boat out so I can take it to be worked on tomorrow. It hasnt been in the water since 2015 and all the sitting has gummed up the carbs, or so I am told (and hope) that is the only reason it wont start.

I plan on setting us up a chat room again very soon. I had a great idea before I had to step away and i am going to make it a reality very soon now. I will keep yall updated.

Have a great day! And thanks for being such loyal Bassholes to Fishinpedia. Things are going to start turning around and picking up again :D

Afternoon folks, hope all are well and staying healthy.

Joe, really sorry for the news about your wife. As always, my fingers are crossed for her.

Medic, glad you popped in. Wishing you and your wife better health quicker than soon.

ski, unbelievable how warm it's been up here in the northeast, huh?

Jared, really sorry about your mom. Each day will get better and better, I'm sure.

My fishing days will be few and far between. I've suffered damage in my left eye and it's really hard to tie line onto a hook. It will be very hard for me to feel like I can participate much here without feeling like a hypocrite. I hope to pop in from time to time to see the gang.

Good luck all. Hope to see the site come to life.

So sorry to hear about your eye Jig. I know what you mean about feeling like a hypocrite posting on the site when you arent fishing. That was the reason I wasnt too active in the beginning (then after Moms hip was broken I just didnt have any time) I felt like a fraud because I wasnt fishing at all.. so how could I run a fishing site if I am never getting my line wet. Gonna change that now though.  But Jig you are always welcome here. You are a friend so you can post about whatever you want even if you share memories. plus soon we will have chat again and you can come BS with us :)

Ski, I am so sorry about your wife. And you are right, their warm memories will help us both through these tough times. I do hope  things get easier as time goes on. its been a very rough month for me. Today was a bit better though once i started focusing on fishing and my boat and keeping busy.

I washed my boat  today for the first time in years. It was disgusting! 2 little tiny plants had actually started growing in the carpet! Tomorrow it goes to my friends house and we start working on it to get the carbs ungummed up and probably replace the fuel line. I cant wait to get it running so i can ride again. I miss that soooooo much!

Good Morning Jared, Ski, Fishin365, Jigfish10, Bassmedic46, The weather here has been hot and cloudy.  I'm still taking care of the wife and doing all the cooking, dishes and outside work. I have not had a chance in the past week to go wet a line.  I did manage to pick up some more speed claws which are what the Bass seem to hit better along with a 4 inch lizard.  Jared I hope you get your boat in working order and are able to get back out on the water.  Ski I hope you do better in the next tournaments. Jig sorry about your eye hope it heals up soon.  Wishing you all the best of luck on the water.  GOD BLESS and tight lines to all.
Put a rod in my hand and a boat under my feet and watch me catch bass.

Good morning everyone. Looks like it’s going to be a nice day here in SC. Went fishing yesterday afternoon but I got the skunk lol I really need to change the line on my rods. Most of it is 6+ years old. I broke off a few times yesterday and was also having difficulties with distance and accuracy because my spools are far from full. Still had a great time.
I don’t believe I heard what happened to your wife Joe but I know first hand how hard it is take care of someone like you are.  You’re a good man.

Hey Ski. Good to see you buddy. I’m considering moving back up your way again next year.  All my family is up there.  Without Mom there’s not much for me here.  I’m not sure yet buts the idea is being tossed around. Gonna see how the next several months go.

Good Morning Jared:  Thought I would bring you up to date on the health situation.  My wife had a stroke which effected her balance and memory four years ago at the same time I was told I had prostate cancer.  I got mine treated and seem to be doing alright so far.  Then this year she had a cancer removed from her back.  She is having trouble walking and falls down a lot.  So far no broken bones.  She needs special care and so far that's what I have been doing.  I still manage to get out once or twice a month to wet a line. My condolence on the loss of your mother. My she rest in peace knowing she was so loved by you.  GOD BLESS and tight lines to you.

Good Morning Jared, Ski, jig10, Bassmedic, Fishin 365: I feel like a selfish no good heel after yesterday.  I went fishing with my 83 Year old buddy J.B.  We both caught nice bass.  My first was a 3 lb LM and then I switched to my ultra light with a bobber and red worm for some bluegill.  It was hot an at 1300 we called it a day.  When I got home I found that my wife had fallen again.  This time she fell four times bruising her side ,back and legs.  I was in shock and felt guilty for leaving her alone.  Now I am going to get her care taker because I can't do it all.  I hope all of you are in good health and are catching a few big bass.  GOD BLESS and tight lines to all.

Mornin Joe, Bassmedic, Jigfishin, Fish and Jared. Joe congrats on catches.
Joe, I know how you feel about what happened to your wife. I felt the same way. I too had the same guilt feel about my wife while I was fishing my tournament. Even though my wife would always say go I'm ok for now.
Joe I do hope your wife feels better. If your wife was like mine telling me to fish, Then you gotta love them.

Now I hope all have a Happy 4th and do be safe.
