BFL #2 in the books
« on: April 07, 2018, 10:14:27 PM »
Old Man winter decided to flex his mussels one more time this year and gave up 20 mph NE winds, 2-3" of snow and 28 degree temps for our 2nd BFL on Kentucky Lake today. We had an hour delay due to visibility. It took me an hour to get to my first spot where I managed to put a 6-02 LM in the boat. Thought it was going to be a great day, but it just was not meant to be as that was the only keeper I caught. On the up side I placed 31st. I will take it as I had a tough practice and the weather conditions.

Good job Joe under those tough conditions. Must of been  slippery too.
Everyone has to believe in something. I believe I'll go Fishin.

Thanks for the report Joe and that's a nice looking fish.  (y) Don't like that white stuff though I'm ready for spring like weather.  :D

Oh Hell NO ! !   Joe you are a better man that me.  There is no way I am leaving my nice warm house to go fishing in the snow.  It just violates my pledge as a fair weather fisherman.

Thanks all,

All the snow was off my boat by the time we made it to the first location. Kicking myself for not going to another 20 miles to my next spot where I new fish were. Lessens learned.
