Moving on to the BASS Nation Nationals
« on: March 10, 2018, 11:19:39 AM »
Last year I earned the right to attend the BASS Nation Regional on Toledo Bend by placing 9th in the TN state tournament on the non boater side.

Day one of the BASS Nation Region tournament I did not fish clean, I hooked 4 fish but was only able to get 2 in the boat for 6-13 which put me in 4th place on the TN side. Day two I was on my game had three keeper bites and got all three in the boat for 7-4 and a total of 14-1. This put me in 1st place on the TN non boater side and 40th over all. I got to fish day 3 and only had one keeper bite all day for 2 pounds and a total of 16-1. I ended up 54th out of 190 non boaters for the tournament, In 2nd place of the TN Nation non boaters, and earned the right to move on to the BASS Nation National  :celebrate:

I caught all my fish this tournament on the Fishing 45 bladed jig and flipping a Pro Tungsten 1/2 oz flipping weight in green pumpkin with a creature bait. I was throwing both of these on on a Team Lew's Custom Pro Speed Spool, on P-Line Tactical Fluorocarbon 20 LB test, with a hand crafted Jimmy Boss rod. All of these incredible products were the key to my success to move on to the BASS Nation Nationals.
